Pyramid:
A pyramid is a polyhedron whose base is a closed polygon with any number of sides and other faces are triangles with a common vertex. If all corners. of a polygon are joined to a point not lying in its plane, we get a pyramid.
The figure above shows a pyramid. The base of this prism is the quadrilateral and the lateral faces are triangles.
